Hawaii Day 4: To Maui

It’s the 4th day of our vocation, and we were heading to Maui from Big Island in the early Morning. We were excited again about the new destination.

“Take a look at our private airplane!!!”— JOKING, we wish we had that one. That’s the tiny jet from Island Air for inter-island transportation.

A bird-eye view of Monokini, a famous snorkeling site in Maui:

We arrived Maui at 10:30AM and headed directly to the hotel: Wailea Beach Marriott Resort. http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/HNMMC

This resort is amazing, and much better than we expected. We got it at the price of $140 per night by priceline.com bidding system (orginal price $385). Thanks Sheryl for help on bidding strategy, if you want to bid a high-end resort at the price of motel, check out her website, I am sure you will love it:

It was my first time using priceline.com bidding system. We originally want the hotel in the west north side, but even when price goes up to $140, we couldn’t get it. So we included Wailea, the south part, and Marriott gave us the offer. I absolutely love this resort as a photographer, it’s very new and has amazing views. It has 7 swimming pool, different style different design and different colors. I will show you photos later.

After check-in, it’s already 2pm. We were so hungry. The location of the resort is so good, just beside the Wailea shopping center, which has almost everything you want, even a Ritz-camera store. We found a super nice burger restaurant, Cheeseburger Island Style Wailea. Its burger is so juicy and it has a fried egg in the middle.

I finished it within just one minute. The desert is just huge and we can’t kill it:

We didn’t have any plan for today, so just went back hotel and took a nap. When we waked up, it’s the amazing sunset time. We can’t help running out of the room to shoot some pictures. Here are some fashion style portrait for Julia. Julia was always complainning that I made everyone look amazing in the photos except for her. But this time, Julia was very happy. She was American Super Model now:

There are two shots after sunset at the beautiful Marriott Resort, we were obsessed to the view and stayed there for a long time:

When we got back to room, we got chance to check emails and started to book things for the rest of our journey. I was so sorry that I didn’t get online during the stay at Big Island and late responded to so many inquiries.
